Obsidians is a great stone to have on hand for repelling negativity it is sometimes referred to as Apache tears. But Apache tears are not quite the same but is closely related. It is a very grounding stone.these are medium size stones. Obsidian can be confused with onyx or jet but it is identified by holding the stone to light. Obsidian will look solid black but it will be opaque on the edges of the stone.
